Philip spends about ninety minutes at your home. Before arriving, he reviews your property's publicly available planning history and any obvious constraints. During the visit, you walk through the house and garden. Philip examines the current room layouts, natural light, levels, and how the house connects to the garden. He listens to your lifestyle preferences and discusses ideas openly and honestly, indicating what is feasible.
When possible, he sketches on any existing floor plans to illustrate potential reconfigurations that could improve connectivity and garden access. Afterwards, he explains the likely planning and building regulation requirements and provides clear guidance on build costs based on similar projects.

A few days later, your detailed brief arrives via email and post, including a fixed-fee proposal for our architectural design phases. To maximise the visit's benefit, ensure all decision-makers are present and bring any existing drawings, planning documents, or images of homes you admire.
A paid consultation offers expert advice in a focused ninety-minute session that is both detailed and unhurried. During this time, there is an opportunity for an in-depth evaluation of your property and a clear discussion of your lifestyle preferences and initial design concepts, including various options.
The guidance is independent of any other commitments, and if you choose to proceed with PWA for complete design services, the consultation fee will be credited towards your initial invoice.
