The concept of this design is to provide a substantial replacement farmhouse that used its broken farmstead appearance to gain planning permission. Sitting on a small hill in its own valley, this spectacularly located new home, will have fabulous views and light. With full eco-home credentials, and built from an ash-clad timber frame, it boasts high levels of insulation and low-carbon heat pump. The owners (farmers and builders) started construction in summer of 2023, but the mix of building with farming and terrible weather its a labour of love!
